By REAGAN HALLLos AlamosMe and my friends were at the grand opening of the new Smith recently. We waited in line for only about 30 minutes, and we were pleasantly surprised by the grandeur of the new shopping center. Every improvement that could ;ve been made over the old Smith had been made. We spent the better of three hours there just looking at all the new items they had in stock when my eyes fell upon the most beautiful fruit salad I had ever seen. All sorts of goodies apples. grapes, peaches, etc. tucked inside of a nutritiou <a href=https://www.stanleycup.fr>stanley cup s stanley mug but delicious melon bowl. I was ready to buy this fruit salad with my meager earnings, and I could tell my friends were excited for me to share it with them. I picked up the tasty treat and eyed the price tag, expecting something decently cheap, but boy howdy was I surprised. The fruit salad was $20.40! Twenty dollars! I was not ready to spend all of my money on a measly fruit salad, regardless of its physical appeal. I left Smith dissatisfied that day, but part of me yearned for that fruit salad. I eventually returned to buy that fruit salad, but lo and beho stanley cup ld, it wasn ;t there. Someone had actually bought that twenty dollar fruit salad before me.Now my question for you is who in their right mind would actually pick up a twenty dollar fruit salad at first glance and not have a single contemplation about the high price of such an item. It downright blasphemy I say, and I will not be giving any of my busi

Ken NebelBy SUE ELLEN HAINSLos AlamosFuller Lodge often is described as the heart and soul of Los Alamos. Many of us in the artistic community would describe Ken Nebel as being the heart and soul of Fuller Lodge Art Center during the past 12 years.Ken recently resigned as assistant director from the art center and we will miss him. <a href=https://www.cup-stanley.fr>stanley france He kept the doors open during the pandemic. It was one of the few places that was open in town. He has kept the arts alive and accessible. The art center is a wonderful space with painting, sculpture, and crafts beautifully displayed. Ken has helped keep artists in business for a long time. They come from all over the country, the state, as well as Los Alamos. He managed it in a professional way, putting in long hours of care and attention. In addition, he helped run the summer art camp for children, the Wednesday afternoon classes for children, and many courses for both children and adults. He facilitated the figure drawing workshop stanley de that has been an art center tradition for many years. He was instrumental in creating the merger with the arts council, a wise move in a precarious time.
